April 22, 2017 at the fourth Annual Autism and the Pursuit of Happiness Conference in Asheville, North Carolina. Catherine Faherty and co-presenter Jade McWilliams share the results of their widely distributed survey about friendship, comparing the results of autistic and non-autistic respondents. They discuss and question common assumptions about autism-related friendship in schools, families, and adult life; and highlight models to nurture within our community.
